Just Toast features over 13+ recipes for simple to fanciful toast, all depicted in traditional pen and ink illustrations. The aesthetic embodies a bold and playful tone through the pastel color pallet, paired with high contrast and detailed illustrations. The illustrative style is reflective of this niche area of cuisine; handcrafted and texturally rough around the edges for fanciful toast lovers. Avenir, a clean san serif, was chosen for a more modern look, while Gastramond contrasted as a thicker typeface with a playful tone.
